beach at Asbury Park when the
Morro Castle gambling ship was towed to shore after it cooled off.
It caught on fire and was destroyed around 1934. |

My dad at
Sampson Air Force Base in Geneva, New York, 1951. He stayed there for
almost a year as a Drill instructor until his new electronics school was
completed. Then he went to Biloxi, Mississippi where he was an
electronics instructor for the remainder of his enlisted time in the Air
Force.

in the background. My father said he bought this bow at Solomon's
Sporting Goods in Elizabeth, NJ. A 35 lb. pull bow, it was about
$12.50. |

My father isn't the cook in the house, other than making popcorn - but
on this day, he made me Potato Pancakes! He's mom's recipe.
