(s
ome of) My favorite links!

I bought a few more (domains)!
This list is current as of:  July 13, 2008 | 12:20 AM

Everyone has their favorite links - mine include MY other sites of course!  Other vanity sites are listed too, where folks with similar interests post their vacation pix, family photos and of course their car collections.

Note:

6 = Domains I own, but not yet online (grey hour glass).

8 = Live domains I own and/or ones I futz around (blue mouse).

8 = Live domains I futz around with for others (red mouse).

  • Joan Garry [dot] com - High on the "very favourite boss" list!  Note the Canadian spelling ... I worked with her while I was in Toronto.  I can't even begin to tell you how much I learned from her at the time.  She's WAY famous now!  Take a look - click around - this is a v1 site I did for her recently ... www.JoanGarry.com 8

  • Basketball Officials - Well, I guess everyone needs a website these days.  Just a little something I did for a friend.  I have zero interest in sports ... but you wouldn't know by the graphics I did!  www.nwnjboard168.org 8

  • The cookie has crumbled ... life after Nabisco - the site says it all.  Well, some stuff.  This site was even mentioned in a USA Today article.  Pretty cool!  http://www.NabiscoAlumni.net 8

  • ... my sister Susan with gear on, etc.A little something for my sister, the firefighter - My sister Sue buys enough stuff with Dalmatians and red hard hats, so one day I suggested a website - poof, Sue's a webmaster (well, not yet).  www.FemaleFirefighterStuff.com 8

  • Everybody needs a smudge - Did you know, many folks take part in ritual smudging ceremonies?  And people get paid to rid homes of unwanted, negative energy?  Smudging is the common name given to the sacred smoke bowl blessing to cleanse and refresh our body, mind and dwelling.  So I thought, if you can rid your home of evil spirits, why not your website!  Or send a smudge via the internet!  People will pay for this, I'm sure of it!  www.vSmudge.com 6

  • Your site lives in perpetuity - How sad would it be, when you died, so did your site?  HHmmm, never thought of that did you?  Well I DID!  I registered a few domain names, and I'm working on the business plan now!
    • www.PerpetuitySite.com 6
    • www.PerpetuityURL.com 6
    • www.PerpetualURL.com 6
    • www.PerpetURL.com 6
    • www.URLBeHereAfterImGone.com ... this if a cute one, I think! 8

  • Our Vet, Dr. Cameron - He's a really nice guy, very giving - so, I decided to 'give back' by doing a website for him.  Cameron Small Animal Hospital ... not quite complete, but it's a great welcome page!  www.CameronAnimalHospital.com 8

  • Bob Warfield A truly enviable list of cars and an EXTREMELY cool house.  Be sure to check out his audio pages, the artwork, the observatory and the bathrooms.  Mr. Warfield is currently a CTO-type at Callidus Software.  (he liked my Batmobile pix)

  • Arnaud de Borchgrave:  Haven't found his site yet, but he's very cool ...

  • Peter H. Thomas:  WHAT A GREAT MAN and HUMANITARIAN.  Be sure to visit his many sites - from a wonderful foundation to his collection of cars, to his various businesses.
  • WAY too many Porsches for ONE man!  Richard Sloan doesn't have just one or two cars ... he's got like 35+ ... Porsches!  All happily housed in heated garages.  Remember, everything is for sale, for a price!  www.SloanCars.com  8

  • New Jersey School of Ballet - As well as being a Barbizon graduate, I went to ballet school for many years!  I don't remember exactly how many years I had ... but I guess that's where I got most of my grace and charm. :)  Very cool to see my old instructors are still around:  Miss Clark and Mr. Tomal - I even had Edward Villella for a few classes!

  • I LOVE collaboration tools - the technology and just evangelizing the whole "play and work well with others" thing.  NetMeeting, as an example was my baby while my day job had me, until I jumped over to the less technical "people-side" of the corporate world.  NOT - I just can't keep my hands off servers and I'll continue to dabble with code.  I'm rambling, aren't I?  Sorry.  Back to collaboration ... let's just say, I've recently registered a new domain, where I hope to bring awareness to the benefits of the technologies that help folks work well in virtual teams, more horizontally across organizations and business groups.  Ergo ... www.CollaborEZ.com - Collaborate with ease! I'm picturing a site (business?) that supports the value of discussion groups, team building, knowledge sharing and the basic platforms needed to move the corporate culture from "me me me and the work I do" to "us us us and the work we do for others".  Stopping now. 8

  • Scholarship Fund for Ethiopian Jews - A site I'm doing for a very worthwhile organization, www.sfej.org. 8

  • "THE" Dog House - I saw this on HGTV ... a 14,000 sq. ft. custom built home in Texas, inspired by this couple's love of their dogs!  Turns out, he's got a great collection of cars too and even more toys than we do!  OMG.  Be sure to browse the Sturgeon's site ... great dogs, cars, toys and a very cool house!  http://www.rdsinvestments.com

  • Prose and Cons, my first book - If you know me, you know I don't read books (I do read catalogues, technical manuals and postcards however).  But that hasn't kept me from thinking about writing a book one day.  I've come up with a few "winning" titles - one of which I always thought would really get some attention by those rubberneck-ers out there (yeah, the ones who slow down around accidents on the highway).  Any who - I did a book cover, started to do some research and everything (even established a pen name).  "Prose and Cons" a book of poetry by inmates; it would them become a series - Rahway, Leavenworth, Corcoran State Prison (that's what Charles Manson is).  My father thinks this idea is a winner!  No book (yet), but I've got the website! :) www.proseNcons.com  6

  • Good BYE Realtor! - Ever since "number one, the Fairway", I've have a love / hate relationship with real estate agents (typical Montclair bidding war, etc.).  To that end, I crafted this "Bye Bye Realtor" site - get it?  Click on the one and only link on that page to see one, cool, Tudor!  www.ByeByeRealtor.info and this long one www.ByeByeRealEstateAgent.com 8

  • Mahmood's Den - My new cyber-friend from Bahrain!  He has a wonderful way with words!  Met him while doing a search for something Porsche related.  Nice guy, American wife, his daughter rides ...

  • ... for only $2.99, I couldn't let these domains go 'un-registered' -

... more to be added as I stumble across them!
